The MuthaTucka puffy blanket is the ultimate mother’s bedtime tuck. No more struggling to keep that comforter folded over your feet for warmth. We’ve built in a pocket for your feet!  By combining the best part of a sleeping bag, the bottom, with the best part of a comforter, the freedom to roll over and stretch if desired, we’ve invented the ultimate camp blanket.  

Ideal fit inside the Rev Tent for a solid night of warmth and comfort.

FAQs

Q: I’m a fan of foot freedom. What if I don’t want to use the foot pocket? 
A: The pocket is pretty wide, so you are not restricted by lateral movement. But the real blanket hack, is just flip it over so the pocket is on the top. Then you can use the MuthaTucka like a normal, unevolved, so last year blanket. 
 
Q: How warm is the blanket? 
A: It’s hard to rate a blanket following sleeping bag industry guidelines, what with the open sides and all, but consider that this blanket has a similar fill to a sleeping bag rated at 32°F / 0°C.

When storing the MuthaTucka at home after a camp trip, we recommend opening the dry bag to let the material air out. As much as the dry bag keeps moisture out, it also keeps moisture in! Make sure the blanket is completely dry before you seal the dry bag. Failure to do so could result in a musty smell at best, and mold at worst. Yuck. Note that most camping pros air out all their soft goods for a day or two before packing away. Not only for the moisture, but helps with the camp fire smoke smell, etc. 

 

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS: 
The blanket wipes down easy-peasy. If you feel the need for a deeper clean, hand wash with mild detergent. Bleach is a no no. Air dry only. Tumbling in a dryer may make the insides clumpy. Clumpy isn't nice.

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.
