Product Details

Features a screened window with privacy cover, side entrance and a back opening for vehicle access.

Compatible with the first generation Rev Tent Platform and Rev Roof Top Tent.   For use with the Rev Platform X and the Rev Roof Top Tent X, note that there is an opening at the top and it will not be completely "bug proof".  

Adjustable height walls accommodate different height vehicles. Total Length 75” / 190cm to  86.5” / 220cm long.

Made of the same waterproof 150D tent fabric as Rev Tent.

Use the zippered rear door to access luggage, toiletry, and other camp gear stored inside the vehicle.  Adjustable size to line up exactly with door or tailgate opening.

Transport and store the annex in the included duffel style bag.

FAQs

Q: Can I sleep in the annex? 
A: If you are like a horse and sleep standing up - sure. Or if you curl up nice and tight… at the base the annex is about 5 x 5 feet / 1.5 x 1.5m. The annex is the perfect size for any camp tasks that require privacy or protection from the elements. If you need more sleeping space, get an extra Rev Tent! 

Q: Can this annex be used without the platform? 
A: Not easily! All 4 sides of the annex slide in to the side channels of the platform. No platform, no support.

Q: Will the Annex protect from bugs? 
A: The Annex doesn't have a floor, but the as long as the walls are hanging completely to the ground the the back wall is zippered up, you should be free of the flying critters.   For use with the Rev Platform X, there is an opening around the ceiling where small critters can get in.  If you are considering this annex for the Rev Platform X - a new design Annex will be available soon.

After a dusty camp trip, wipe down with wet cloth.  Do not use soap.  

 

Do not store wet.  Make sure you air dry completely before storing in the bag.

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.

Before purchasing the Rev Roof Top Tent, please review these important facts:

  1. You will be adding weight to your vehicle. This will alter your gas mileage (for the worse!). When carrying a Roof Top Tent on a vehicle you may hear whistling and added noise.
