This Slimline II rack kit contains all the components needed to mount the Slimline II cargo carrying rack to a Jeep JK 4 door 2007-2018 including the Slimline II Tray (1425mm x 2368mm), the Jeep Extreme Mounting System and a Wind Deflector.

This rugged, sophisticated, high performance, nearly indestructible rack system allows you to quickly remove the Freedom Panels and works with the hardtop roof on or with no roof at all.

This rack kit contains detailed and easy to follow installation instructions as well as all the components needed to mount the rack to your Jeep Wrangler JK.  It can be installed at home with common tools.  For further information on installation, please see the fitment instructions in the SUPPORT tab.

The JK Extreme mounting system bolts to the roll bar with middle and rear brackets. This unobtrusive, high performance, nearly indestructible mounting solution allows you to quickly remove the Freedom Panels and works with the hardtop or with no roof at all. Freedom Panels can be quickly and easily removed with rack in place. The cargo weight is evenly distributed across the roll bars and body of the jeep, placing zero weight on the hardtop itself.

FAQs

Q:  How does the Rev Rack Tent attach to the Jeep JK Extreme Roof Rack?  
A:  The tent comes with 6 Eyenuts.  The bolts go through the grommets on the tent and “bolt” to the rack at 6 points.  To fold up the tent, just remove 2 of the eyenuts and fold the tent closed!

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.
