Need a comfy mattress for the camping inside your vehicle or anywhere at the camp site?  The Rev Tent Mattress is now available as a stand alone purchase.  The great news for campers everywhere?  The Rev Mattress is superior to air mattresses and sleeping pads, and can be used as a high performance stand alone bed anywhere.  

The 4" thick, dual layer foam construction offers both protection from uneven ground and a soft surface ideal for side sleepers.  The water resistant base fabric means you can use the premium mattress in all weather conditions.  

If you're looking for a comfy durable mattress for van life, station wagon camping, truck conversions, or sleeping on the ground on a clear night to stream the Milky Way - the Rev Mattress has got your back. 

Why we don't use memory foam in our camp mattresses?  1.  Memory foam is much heavier than traditional open cell foam.  2. The density changes depending on the temperature.  Too cold outside?  Your mattress is stiff as a board.  Too hot?  You sink in to the memory foam and feel trapped in warm cocoon.  Memory home makes much more sense in a controlled temp environment where the mattress doesn't have to be moved daily, like in a home. But for camping? Hard Pass.

Q: CAN I USE THIS MATTRESS AS A REPLACEMENT REV TENT MATTRESS?

A: Of course.  This is the exact mattress and cover used inside the original Rev Tent. 

 

Q: HOW DO I ASSEMBLE MY MATTRESS?  

A: Zip open the case and insert the 2 pieces of harder foam, interlocking, on the bottom. Insert the soft foam on top and zip up!  Simple, easy, and quick!

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.

Before purchasing the Rev Roof Top Tent, please review these important facts:

  1. You will be adding weight to your vehicle. This will alter your gas mileage (for the worse!). When carrying a Roof Top Tent on a vehicle you may hear whistling and added noise.
