Exactly what I was looking for! Easy to mount on my car by myself and very easy to set up. Easy to take off and store after every camping trip. I especially love the ability to remove the rain fly and enjoy the stars at night. Probably the most comfortable tent I have ever had

This is my 3rd RTT. This will hopefully be my last RTT! I switched because I found I no longer wanted to carry a roof tent on my Pathfinder every day. And getting my previous clamshell off required the help of my neighbors. Nice enough people, always ready to help, but not necessarily on my schedule! The quality of the c6 tent is superb. The mattress is the best in my experience. My wife agrees (most importantly). Took a minute to build the platform but the instructions were easy to follow. I've been out on 3 camping trips with this so far, and this last weekend I didn't even bother to set up on the roof. I never camped on the ground with a real mattress before. A Game changer.

I previously had a Smittybilt pop-up rooftop tent that was great in concept, but impractical for my needs as a solo traveler with a dog. Even though it was one of the lighter RTTs, it was still heavy, awkward, and yanked my MPG.

The G2 doesn’t just feel like an upgrade, it feels like a completely different approach to camping that makes rooftop tents seem unnecessary for most weekend warriors. Instead of having to powerlift a bulky RTT on and off my roof and deal with the MPG hit, I can now toss a 25lb bag into the bed of my truck and go.

And if I ever want a roof setup again, I can easily mount it to the C6 OEM platform on my Alu cab load bars.

lightweight tent, but also durable!

Great tent! I purchased the Scout tent and platform. I set it up in my driveway a couple of times to make sure everything worked before heading out on the first trip. I went out last week during the Pacific Northwest's wild rain and windstorm (record flooding). I figured if I could set it up in a driving rainstorm than it would be a keeper. Even setting it up as a RTT 6 ft off the ground, it went up quickly and without issue. It was a "breeze" pun intended. Even with the rain, the inside stayed dry both during setup and the 2 nights I spent inside.

I've owned 3 other RTTS two of which were $3500+ name brand clamshells. The Rev Tent beat them hand's down. It was much quieter in the wind. The light weight and smaller profile improved fuel economy on my truck by 1.7 MPG.

Another bonus is the ability to easily take it on and off the truck rack. Living in the PNW with its historically wet weather means it's frequently hard to dry out a heavy fixed mount RTT. The Rev tent makes it easy to pop off the truck and dry it out in my garage.

C6 keeps you informed during the entire order process. Besides the initial order confirmation email, I received multiple emails as to the shipping status and delivery info. I had a few questions about the frame and got an immediate positive response from C6 and their customer service folks. Hands down this is outstanding service!

I've since purchased several other C6 products including their pillows, sheets, flex light, gear hammock and blanket. All are high quality and compliment the tent.

I spend 80+ nights a year in the mountains and camp every month of the year. I rate C6's products up with the best!
