Very light for its class, you dont need to worry about added miles per gallon per weight on this thing. Very comfortable too because of the foam bed included. This is also my second purchase.

Great tent! I purchased the Scout tent and platform. I set it up in my driveway a couple of times to make sure everything worked before heading out on the first trip. I went out last week during the Pacific Northwest's wild rain and windstorm (record flooding). I figured if I could set it up in a driving rainstorm than it would be a keeper. Even setting it up as a RTT 6 ft off the ground, it went up quickly and without issue. It was a "breeze" pun intended. Even with the rain, the inside stayed dry both during setup and the 2 nights I spent inside.

I've owned 3 other RTTS two of which were $3500+ name brand clamshells. The Rev Tent beat them hand's down. It was much quieter in the wind. The light weight and smaller profile improved fuel economy on my truck by 1.7 MPG.

Another bonus is the ability to easily take it on and off the truck rack. Living in the PNW with its historically wet weather means it's frequently hard to dry out a heavy fixed mount RTT. The Rev tent makes it easy to pop off the truck and dry it out in my garage.

C6 keeps you informed during the entire order process. Besides the initial order confirmation email, I received multiple emails as to the shipping status and delivery info. I had a few questions about the frame and got an immediate positive response from C6 and their customer service folks. Hands down this is outstanding service!

I've since purchased several other C6 products including their pillows, sheets, flex light, gear hammock and blanket. All are high quality and compliment the tent.

I spend 80+ nights a year in the mountains and camp every month of the year. I rate C6's products up with the best!

This is by far the best tent I have ever owned. I make plans to camp just so I can sleep in my REV tent. The 4" mattress is super comfy, the tent setup and breakdown is easy, and the tent is warm in the winter!

High Quality construction, very comfortable mattress. Even the wife thinks so. Some patience is needed when assembling, following the instructions and watching the available videos helps. Good value and flexibility and weight when compared to hard shell RTTs.

recently used the C6 RevTent on a camping trip and was blown away by how well it performed. Only used a couple of times so far, but seems a great design - lightweight and easy to move around, and the mattress is so comfy. I like the way that once you put it up the first time, you don't need to remove the poles - makes subsequent times really easy. Looking forward to using it more!

My last pick-up tent was ok. Took a bit longer to set up than the Rev Tent. And tied up my bed even when I needed to use it. My Rev Tent spends half it's camping time on the ground when I need my truck bed. And if it's wet or muddy or I have the space, I pitch it in the bed. On the topic of beds, the Rev Tent mattress is A+. Solid contruction, sturdy frame, love that all 4 windows can also be used as doors. tons of options.

As A lifelong ground tent camper who used air mattress - I didn't even consider a real bed in a tent until I found the Rev Tent. Plus Getting off the ground helps when it's muddy or rocky. My wife and I really appreciate the mattress, not too firm, not too soft, and the thoughtful touches like the included tent stakes and guy lines for the times you don't need or want to camp on the roof. Assembling the platform took longer than the suggested 2 hours but it wasn't difficult - the instructions were well thought out and it helps to take your time with them.

This tent is very comfortable. Slept in both cold and wet and had very good nights sleep.
It is very easy to setup...on a roof rack, bed of truck, ground, and even the living room for the kids.
Storage is a breeze so I can keep it off of my roof rack for daily driving. I hang it on the garage wall and put it on the rack when I need it.
Solid design. Quality material. Super light weight.

It’s got some heft to it but the quality is outstanding. Definitely could use this for more than just the tent if you needed to. It came in a manageably sized box and the assembly was fairly straight forward. You’ll want some floor space to lay it out on to make things easier. One quip is that I wish the latches also used Allen headed screws instead of Phillips but that’s very minor. It’s very easy to deploy and ready the tent. The ladder is sturdy and when you’re in the tent the platform feels very stable and solid. I only had a single night to test it out so far but I’m highly confident that this will be a great addition to an already great tent. It is going to be so much better to minimize my footprint for boondocking and I like the security of being elevated. Keep up the great products!

This is my second Rev Tent. I regretfully sold one many years ago and when I saw the Ember with blackout technology, it was a no-brainer. It fits perfect in my ram 1500 short bed. Best mattress in the industry! I sleep just as well as on my sleep number mattress at home. It’s light, easy up and easy down. I can even strap it to the top of my UTV SxS for real remote camping. It is the real deal and cannot recommend enough.

This tent is fantastic! I spent the weekend camping through a rain storm and the Shellter kept me dry and warm. It was also easy to put up and break down when I was ready to hit the trails. 100% waterproof and I slept like a baby with the 4" mattress.

If you want one of the best tents out there that combines comfort with ease of set up and long term quality, then this is a great tent. I've spent a lot of nights sleeping in other tents trying to get comfortable on blow up air mattresses that slide out from under me or go flat in the middle of the night, but nothing beats the built in mattress in the REV TENT!
