Protect your Rev Tent base from excessive abrasion. Add a layer of security when using the tent on less than smooth or clean surfaces.

And don’t just think this footprint is only protection for your tent. This is basic utility gear you should keep in your C6 camp kit. 

With a waterproof rating of 3000mm, you can use this footprint as a tarp to protect camp gear in the rain. Or even as a make shift rain poncho! 

With the corner webbing you can get creative and tie down, through, across or to just about anything.  

You can even put this handy sheet to service as a picnic blanket and tablecloth.

FAQs

Q: Do I have to use a footprint with the Rev Tent on the ground? 
A: No. Do you have to eat healthy food? No. Will you last longer if you eat healthy food? Yes. Think of the Rev Tent footprint as a nice salad with a balsamic drizzle. It will help the Rev Tent live longer. If you camp a lot in a rocky terrain, or muddy area, it would be wise to keep this footprint in your camp kit.  

Q: What is the Rev Tent base made of that it needs protection? 
A: The Rev Tent base is an abrasion resistant 840D Nylon. BUT – it is a fabric. And a sharp rock is a sharp rock. Have you ever played Rock Scissors Paper? Paper covers rock. But the scissors… Oh shoot. Terrible analogy. Back up. If you want to play it safe, it helps to have an extra layer of strong 210T Oxford footprint material between the tent and nature.

What are you looking for?

  1. In order to mount the Rev Rack Tent on your rack, you will need a platform style roof rack with flat surface of at least 48” x 84” / 1220mm x 2134mm with gaps between the slats no greater than 8” /203mm.
  2. Front Runner or Yakima / Rhino Rack Option: your Rev Rack Tent ships with 6 stainless steel eye nuts and appropriate track bolts.
  3. For “other” roof rack option: your Rev Rack Tent will come with a set of 4 Rev Straps that can be used to secure the tent to a wide variety of appropriately sized platform style roof racks for transport and sleep.
